The Team
Who We Are

Fernanda
Founder & President
Fernanda has always believed in the healing power of art and its ability to bring light to difficult moments.
Drawing and painting have become her way to find peace, reflect, and stay grounded while turning challenges into purpose.
When she left her home country to begin a new chapter abroad, art remained her constant source of balance and joy.
She dedicates her work at LAPA to helping children and survivors discover that same sense of calm and empowerment through creativity. She uses art as a safe space to express emotions, build confidence, and rediscover hope.
Elias
Founder & President
Elias has been passionate about psychology and mental health since childhood. At just five years old, he began creating sculptures using recycled materials. He transformed discarded objects into something meaningful.
He later developed a clay sculpture series that reflects the emotions of immigrants and the experience of leaving everything behind, like family, friends, and home. Through his art, he explores resilience, identity, and a deep pride in his roots, finding strength and belonging through creativity.
Through LAPA, Elias shares his belief that creativity can turn loss into strength and emotion into healing, inspiring others to find peace through creation.

Together, Fernanda and Elias share a deep belief that art has the power to heal hearts, strengthen minds, and inspire lasting change.
Through LAPA, which stands for Love, Art, Peace, and Action, they encourage people to take an active role in their own healing and well-being. They believe that using creativity can lead to inner peace, connection, and transformation.
